The Tomb of Sultan Süleyman the Magnificent

He is surely the most famous of all the Ottoman sultans. During his reign, from 1520 to 1566, he not only codified the laws of the land and expanded Ottoman territory, but he adorned Istanbul and other cities in the empire with beautiful buildings. This he did with the help of his architect, Mimar Sinan.
