| The interior of Wat Mai Suwannaphumaham is typical of many others. There is a large golden statue of a seated Buddha, surrounded by smaller statues of him in various poses. There is often a photo of a revered, deceased monk who was associated with the wat. There is a small altar at the very front, close to the floor, for placing offerings of fruit, flowers, candles and incense. Shoes are always removed before entering. |  |
