Baubles and bangles are what these two charming and handsome brothers are selling - and it's not easy to get by them without investing in some trinket, or sandalwood incense or jasmine-scented oil.

Their white hats tell that they're Muslims. Like most of India, Mysore is predominantly Hindu but with a sizeable Muslim population. There doesn't seem to be any friction between them that we can discern. From Michael's house we can hear the daily call to prayer from several mosques in the area.

We're right now in the middle of the month of Ramadan, when Muslims fast in the daylight hours and feast after sunset.
