Joanna was always curious about cooking in the clay 'hotpots' that are in every Vietnamese kitchen. You can buy these pots in the markets for about 25¢. They don't last forever, but at that price, who cares.

Our chef told us they need no special preparation, just put them on the stove top, add your ingredients, and you're ready to go.
