We were stopped briefly at a ferry terminal, waiting our turn to be taken across the Mekong. These three ladies could not take their eyes off the bevy of blondes inside our car. They almost, for a moment, forgot that they were supposed to be trying to sell us their eggs, coca-colas, and lotus seed pods.
