Looks like boza. Feels like boza. Has a cinnamon topping like boza. But it's not. It's another Turkish drink called sahlep. It's served piping hot in the winter months and it's good for what ails you - colds, flu, sore throat. It's made from the dried, ground roots of an Anatolian mountain orchid. If you don't have time for all the steps that seems to involve, you can also buy it in powdered form in most supermarkets. |
