The way of life on Inle Lake is changing. Tourism has arrived and is catching on fast. This fish was not for sale - but the photo op was. And of course I fell for it.

The lake is beautiful and your boatman will take you to see the many sights then bring you to a restaurant on stilts and then off to one of the small shops selling 'traditional handicrafts' which may or may not be native to the lake area.
