We waited in Florida until hurricane Dennis passed - wreaking havoc in Alabama and Mississippi. By the time we got to New Orleans, Emily was on her way and after 2 days we were back on the road trying to stay ahead of her. It was not a good year for these parts. Six weeks later Katrina came through.
