I love trains. It's a civilized way to travel. And let's face it, air travel is becoming less civilized with every flight. We took "The Empire Builder" from Seattle to Chicago and then changed to "The Lake Shore Limited" to New York. That's 4 days and 3 nights on a train. (NB. The caviar and champagne are not supplied by AMTRAK.)
