It takes a lot of time and skill to do ikat weaving. The colored threads have to be lined up in such a way that the pattern emerges as the fabric is woven. The village of Bena is home to dozens of women who work their looms. Most of the threads are dyed using indigo, jack fruit and other natural materials.
