Cow of the Month

Miss November's future may or may not lie in the pasture. It all depends on this boy's religion. If he's Hindu, Miss November will be out-standing in her field for many years to come - killing a cow is a sin almost as grievous as homicide. But if he's Muslim or Christian, she could be Veal Vindaloo by tomorrow night.

Given that there's a 60-20-20 split of Hindu-Muslim-Christian in Kerala, she's got a better than average chance of survival. And this young man not only holds Miss November's fate in his hands, he has the added distinction of being both a Cowboy and an Indian.
