In my opinion, the most beautiful art form in Rajasthan is that of the miniature. They're small in size but rich in delicate detail. Some of the pigments used are from crushed semiprecious stones. The Bundi palace-fort is decorated with dozens of them. It's a Persian influence originally brought in by the moghuls, but it soon spread throughout the Rajput world.
