From Salvador we headed north along the coast.

One of the words that springs to mind at the mention of Brazil is 'BEACH'. Brazil has a beautiful 7,400 km (4,600 mile) coastline, and with temperatures never straying too far from 30℃ (85℉) for weeks on end - it's not a bad place to hang out for a while.
