You walk into a clothing store in downtown Saigon - and there are a lot of them. There's a shirt you love but they don't have it in your size - or maybe you want it in a different fabric. "Come back in 6 hour," they say.

And sure enough, when you come back, there's your shirt - or anything else you want to have made- waiting for you. Prices are very inexpensive. My "custom" linen shirt, which I picked up today was about $17.
