These acrobats are not from Tlacotalpan but from El Tajin, a town farther north in Veracruz. In a tradition that goes back centuries, these guys climb this single wooden pole and harness themselves to a rope. They then throw themselves off, slowly spinning and unwinding their way to the ground. A musician on top plays the flute.
