The Museo de Antropologia in Xalapa, Veracruz is one of the most beautiful and fascinating museums we've ever been to. This Olmec head is almost 2 meters high - it is one of several in the museum. The Olmecs were the antecedents to just about every other indigenous group in Mexico and Central America.
