Guanajuato is a 'twinned city' to our home town of Spoleto. I think it's because they both host festivals. In Spoleto it's The Festival dei Due Mondi and here it's the Festival Internacional Cervantino - celebrating the author of Don Quixote. Artists from the world over are invited to perform - theatre, music, dance, opera.
