Many people along the river have had to dismantle restaurants, bars, even parts of their houses to make way for the new construction. "The Good View", a favorite watering hole just upstream from us, is gone.

But they've just hauled a derelict restaurant barge into place which they're now refurbishing in the hopes of keeping their place alive. Sok dee, we say to them - Good Luck.
