Tropical schools all have the same design, from Mexico to India to SE Asia. A long, one story, railroad building divided up into classrooms. They have windows on 2 sides. Students in Laos have a dress code. For girls it's a white shirt, sometimes with a little necktie, and the traditional sin, that is, a straight, calf-length skirt with a decorated strip at the hemline. For the boys it's white shirt, dark pants. |
