If you look along the profile of this mountain you'll spot something that looks like a nipple and that's what makes this place special. The ancient Khmer believed this mountain, Phu Kao, to be a natural Shivalinga - or Shiva's phallus.

It looks more like a woman's breast to me, but who am I to argue with the experts. According to Sanskrit carvings, it's been revered since the 5th century AD. It was even claimed in olden times that this was where Shiva was born.
