| Our ride back to Vientiane was on the overnight sleeper train to Nong Khai. We booked a first class passage leaving Bangkok at 8PM and were back in our treehouse by 10 the next morning -- exhausted, jet-lagged and soaking wet -- but glad to be home. |  |
