Indians are very curious about where you are from and never hesitate to ask. It's invariably the first thing they'll want to know of a complete stranger.

They are warm, open, helpful and friendly people and seem to be genuinely happy that you are visiting. They are so friendly, in fact, that when you ask them for information you have to take what they say with a grain of salt because they will give you the answer they think you want to hear, whether or not accurate.
