Cuba holds a fascination for people the world over but especially for US citizens who have been banned from visiting for nearly 60 years. They believe it's a kind of time capsule where nothing much has changed since JFK's time. And there is some truth to that belief.

And as Cubans struggle to enter the 21st century, tourism is expected to increase rapidly and although some progress has been made in improving the country's infrastructure it may not happen fast enough to keep up with the trend in coming years.
