Driving west into the Central Sierras between Córdoba and Mendoza the roads are lined with pampas grass.

The area is the farthest east Andean condors (Vultur gryphus) will call home. They look a lot like vultures except that they have a wingspan of 3 meters. That tiny black dot in the sky to the left might be one.
